A total of 129 regular vacancies are announced across disciplines and salary grades E0 to E5, distributed as per Presidential Directives for UR, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories.

Fixed Term Employments (FTEs) – Vacancy Details

No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates for FTE positions. FTE engagement is purely temporary, for a defined period not exceeding two years, extendable based on business requirements.

HRRL Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil essential educational qualification and work experience (wherever applicable) as on the cut-off date 13.05.2026. All qualifications must be full-time regular courses from AICTE-approved/UGC-recognized universities. Part-time, correspondence, or distance learning qualifications are not eligible. Candidates in their final year/semester whose results are awaited by the cut-off date are not eligible. For E0 positions (Jr. Executive – Chemical, Mechanical, Fire & Safety), candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, M.Sc, Ph.D, etc. are NOT eligible.

HRRL Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

For S/G E0 (Jr. Executive – Chemical, Mechanical, Fire & Safety)

The selection comprises Computer Based Test (CBT), Skill Test, and Personal Interview – all elimination rounds. Candidates qualifying in Skill Test are referred to Personal Interview. Physical Fitness Efficiency Test and Pre-Employment Medical Examination are additionally applicable for E0 positions.

Overall qualifying (CBT + Skill Test + Personal Interview): 60% for UR/EWS; 54% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

For S/G E1 & E2 (Asst. Engineer/Officer, Engineer/Officer, Asst. Accounts Officer)

Selection comprises CBT, Group Task/Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. For Medical Officer (E2), only Personal Interview is conducted.

Overall qualifying (CBT + GD + PI): 60% for UR/EWS; 54% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

For S/G E3 & E5 (Senior Engineer, Senior Manager)

Selection comprises Technical Competency Interview and Behavioural Competency Interview by a constituted panel. Shortlisting from applications may be done based on relevant experience, qualification marks, and age in case of large application numbers.

Overall qualifying (Technical + Behavioural Interview): 60% for UR/EWS; 54% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

For FTE Positions (Plant Heads)

Selection through Personal Interview comprising Technical Competency Assessment and Behavioural Competency Assessment conducted by the Selection Committee.

CBT Structure (applicable for E0, E1, E2)

The CBT has no negative marking and comprises two parts: General Aptitude (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation) and Technical/Professional Knowledge (questions related to qualifying degree and practical knowledge for the applied position). Detailed syllabus will be uploaded on the HRRL website in due course.

HRRL Recruitment 2026 – Emoluments

CTC includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, HRA, and Perks & Cafeteria Allowance (25% for E0-E2; 30% for E3; 35% for E5 of basic pay). Additional benefits include canteen facility, laptop reimbursement on joining (except E0), Group Family Floater Medical Policy, GTLI, and GPAI as per prevailing policies.

Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond to serve for a minimum of 3 years. Bond amount: Rs. 3,00,000/- for General candidates; Rs. 50,000/- for EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD candidates (applicable to all grades E0 to E5). A retention amount of Rs. 3,000/month (E0) and Rs. 5,000/month (E1-E5) will be deducted during the probation period and released after 3 years without interest.

Probation: One year from date of joining, extendable as per company policy.

Important Instructions for HRRL Recruitment 2026 Candidates

  • Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

  • Jr. Executive – Fire & Safety candidates must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License as on 13.05.2026 and meet prescribed physical standards (height, weight, chest measurements, eyesight, and health criteria).
  • OBC-NCL certificate must not be older than 6 months from the cut-off date and must clearly state the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer.
  • EWS Income and Asset Certificate must be valid for FY 2026-27 and submitted at the time of interview.
  • Candidates currently employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in original at the time of the selection process.
  • Application fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
