These recruitments are for direct permanent/tenure-based appointments under Recruitment Notice Nos. NSUT/FACULTY/2026/02 and NSUT/GROUP ‘A’/2026/01. Applications must be submitted online followed by hard copy submission. The deadline for online applications is June 30, 2026 and hard copy submission deadline is July 15, 2026 by 5:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria & Job Requirements
Candidates must fulfill the minimum qualifications and experience specified for each post:
Teaching Posts – Educational Qualification (Post & Department-wise)
- Assistant Professor – Biological Sciences & Engineering / Bio-Technology: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
- Assistant Professor – Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics: Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university, plus cleared UGC/CSIR NET or SLET/SET; OR Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (exempted from NET); OR Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU.
- Assistant Professor – Design: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4-year Diploma AND Master’s Degree or equivalent PG Diploma (First Class in both) in Engineering/Design or relevant branch with minimum 2 years of professional design experience after Master’s; OR Integrated Master’s Degree (First Class) with 3 years of professional design experience. Ph.D. in Design or allied field is desirable.
- Assistant Professor – Geo-Informatics: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline AND M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant specialization, with First Class or equivalent in either Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Ph.D. in relevant discipline is desirable.
- Associate Professor – Biological Sciences & Engineering / Bio-Technology: Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level + minimum 6 research publications in SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS + minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience (at least 2 years post-Ph.D.).
- Associate Professor – Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics: Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline + Master’s degree with at least 55% marks + minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience + minimum 7 peer-reviewed publications + total research score of 75 as per UGC 2018 norms.
- Associate Professor – Design: Ph.D. in relevant field + Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent PG Diploma (First Class or equivalent) in Engineering/Design + minimum 6 research publications in SCI/SCIE/SSCI/AHCI journals + minimum 8 years of professional design experience (at least 2 years post-Ph.D.).
- Associate Professor – Geo-Informatics: Ph.D. in relevant discipline + Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent + minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience (at least 2 years post-Ph.D.) with minimum 6 SCI research publications.
Non-Teaching Posts – Educational Qualification & Experience
- Campus Director (Age: up to 60 years): Ph.D. degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Engineering & Technology + minimum 2 Ph.D. scholars guided (degree awarded) as supervisor/co-supervisor + minimum 10 research publications in SCI/SCIE/SSCI journals + total 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience in regular scale, of which at least 5 years must be at the level of Professor.
- Training & Placement Officer (Age: up to 50 years): MBA/PGDM (2-year course) + UG degree in Engineering/Management/Sciences/Commerce + total 12 years of experience, of which at least 6 years in Training & Placement at Level 10 and above (7th CPC) or equivalent. UG degree in Engineering is desirable.
- Medical Officer (Age: up to 35 years): Recognized MBBS qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 + completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who have not yet completed internship may apply, provided they complete it before appointment.
Age Limit & Field Specifications
Age Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates as per DoPT guidelines issued by the Government of India.
Campus Posting: Selected candidates may be posted or transferred to any NSUT campus — Main Campus (Dwarka), East Campus (Geeta Colony), or West Campus (Jaffarpur, Najafgarh).
Application Fee
Fee is non-refundable. SC/ST/PwBD candidates applying under General Category will pay as per SC/ST/PwBD slab. Payment must be made through the online application portal.
NSUT Recruitment 2026 Selection Methodology
The selection process differs by post category:
- Assistant Professor: Written Test (mandatory for all, except UGC NET qualified candidates for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) → Screening cum Assessment as per Table-A criteria → Teaching Aptitude Assessment (TAA) & Interview. Final selection: 50% weightage to Table-A score + 50% to interview performance. Minimum qualifying score: 50/100 for General/OBC/EWS and 45/100 for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Associate Professor: Screening cum Assessment as per Table-A criteria → Teaching Aptitude Assessment (TAA) & Interview. Same final weightage and qualifying score criteria as above.
- Group ‘A’ Non-Teaching Officers (Campus Director, Training & Placement Officer, Medical Officer): Shortlisting based on qualifications and experience → Document Verification → Personal Interview. Mode of selection for all non-teaching posts is interview only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the process.

- Submit separate online applications and fees for each post applied for.
- Ensure a valid email ID is provided that will remain active throughout the recruitment process.
- After online submission, take a printout of the filled application form and attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents including educational certificates, marksheets, experience letters, research publications, category certificates, NOC from employer (if applicable), and any other supporting documents as applicable to the post.
